Update: Blawx Alpha Now Saves Your Work
In order to be able to get at the power of Blawx, it’s important to be able to stop working on your code and come back to it later.
We are planning on implementing a more full-featured save and load functionality in the future, but in order to give users something useful in the short term, we have today implemented automatic workspace saving in the live alpha demo version.
Close your browser window, and come back tomorrow. What you were working on in the live alpha demo will still be there.
We’ve also solved a bunch of other problems, big and small. Audio and graphics are now loading properly in the interface (try putting a block in the garbage!), and the website is available and accessible through abbreviated links.
Some of the other things that we’re currently working on and hope to release soon:
- Adding aggregate functions (maximum, minimum, count) as a new category of blocks.
- Bug fixes.
- Building more tutorials and documentation.
If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see happen, use our feedback form or contact @BlawxAI on Twitter. We’d love to hear what you’re doing.
